Get the Amazon Fire 7 Tablet for Just $30 Before Prime Day

Amazon Fire 7 Tablet

Because they are so inexpensive, Amazon Fire tablets are popular for streaming movies and playing simple games. Even though Prime Day is still a week away, several Amazon products are already participating in the deal.

The cheapest Fire 7 is now discounted, however, the Fire HD 8 and Fire HD 10 aren’t yet on sale. The cheapest model, with 16 GB of internal storage and lock screen adverts, is now available for $29.99. Despite a couple of “Lightning Deals” that reduced the price, that represents a $20 savings (or 40%) off the list price.

The Fire 7, has a 7-inch screen, and 2 GB of RAM. A MediaTek MT8168V/B chipset, and Fire OS 8, is the entry-level tablet in Amazon’s series of tablets (based on Android 11). A USB Type-C port and dual-band Wi-Fi are two features. That is uncommon on most tablets in this price range. Despite the fact that it isn’t the most capable tablet available.

Although the current discount is only available to Amazon Prime members for the next four days, the stock is already constrained. While the more expensive 32 GB Fire 7 with ads is fully sold out, the 16 GB model with lock screen adverts is back-ordered (Amazon claims it “typically ships within 2 to 3 weeks”). The 16 GB and 32 GB variants without advertisements, however, are still offered with quick shipment.

The Fire 7 isn’t the best tablet available. Especially because it doesn’t include the Google services that are often found on most Android devices. But for $30, you can’t expect much.
